We offer a 15-day return window from the date you receive your order. Whether you’ve purchased adhesives & tapes, geometric wallpaper, car maintenance kits, or door handles, if you’re not completely satisfied, we’ll help make it right.

The Returns & Exchanges Process
Follow these simple steps to return or exchange an item:
- Initiate Your Return Request
Within 15 days of receiving your order, contact our customer service team at [email protected] with your order number and details about the item you wish to return or exchange. You can use the template below to ensure you provide all necessary information.
- Receive Return Authorization
We’ll respond within 24-48 hours with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and detailed instructions on where to send your return. Please do not send items back without an RMA number.
- Package Your Items Securely
Place the item(s) in their original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and tags. Include a copy of your order confirmation or the RMA form. For wallpaper rolls (floral, damask, brick effect, etc.), ensure they are securely rolled and protected to prevent damage.
- Ship Your Return
Ship your package to the address provided in your RMA instructions. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and retaining your proof of postage. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
- Receive Your Refund or Exchange
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll process your refund or ship your exchange item. You’ll receive an email notification when each step is complete.

Refund Timeline & Method
We process refunds with the same efficiency we apply to shipping your orders:
Refund Processing
- Inspection Period: 2-3 business days after we receive your return
- Refund Initiation: Within 2 business days after inspection approval
- Funds Return: 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your original payment account
Payment Methods: Refunds are issued to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal). The refund will appear on your statement under “Robert Dyas Equipment Shop.”
Exchange Shipping: If you requested an exchange, we will ship your replacement item via your original shipping method (Standard or Free Shipping) once the return is approved. For expedited exchanges, contact our customer service team.
Non-Returnable Items
To ensure safety, hygiene, and compliance with regulations, certain products cannot be returned unless defective or incorrect. Based on our product range, the following are non-returnable:
Items That Cannot Be Returned
- Opened Adhesives & Tapes: Due to hygiene and safety concerns
- Cut or Opened Wallpaper Rolls: Including floral, geometric, damask, brick effect, wood effect, animal, collage, and check wallpaper patterns (may be returned if unopened in original packaging)
- Opened Car Care & Car Cleaning Products: Chemicals and liquids for safety reasons
- Electrical Accessories: If the packaging seal is broken
- Personalized or Custom-Ordered Items: Unless defective
- Clearance or Final Sale Items: As marked at time of purchase
Exceptions apply for items that arrive defective, damaged, or incorrect. In these cases, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the issue.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect:

- Include your order number and clear photos of the issue
- We will arrange a prepaid return label and expedite a replacement or refund
This applies to all products including hand tools, car accessories, decorating tools, hinges, bolts & latches, and flooring and tiling supplies.
